Michael Essien is delighted to be joined at AC Milan by two former Chelsea teammates.

Fernando Torres and Marco van Ginkel have joined Milan on-loan from Chelsea. Another former Blue, Alex, has signed from PSG.

"It's nice to have them around here. These are some of the nicest people you can meet in football and we talk frequently about our time at Chelsea," revealed Essien.

"Hopefully we can repeat the glorious days we had at Chelsea here."
