The agent of want-away Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo has welcomed interest from Roma.

Roma have been linked with the experienced centre-forward, who is in negotiations about a release from his Espanyol deal.

Tomas Duran told Calciomercato.com: "Tomorrow we have a meeting with Espanyol and we'll see what happens.

"Roma? No club has contacted me to ask about Raul, but it would be a destination that we would like.

"We have not even begun formal contacts with other Italian teams, because the first thing we want to know is how the situation with Espanyol is. It is too early to talk about names, but it is clear that Raul would love to play in Italy, a good solution."
