Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo is attracting plenty of interest from Wigan Atheltic boss Roberto Martinez.
The 32-year old Spain international is in a dispute with the Barcelona-based club and may have his contract terminated so he can be released.
One man who will be happy for that to happen is Latics manager Martinez who has been keen on Tamudo since the summer.
"Tamudo is on our list and yes, I would like him," Martinez is quoted by The People.
If Tamudo is released by Espanyol, he would still not be able to move until the January transfer window but it seems certain that Martinez will pursue him so he can bring him to Wigan and strengthen his squad further.
