Espanyol are moving for frozen-out Sevilla striker Javier Chevanton.
The Uruguay international is up for sale at Sevilla after criticising coach Juande Ramos last week.
Espanyol hope to seal a loan agreement with Sevilla for Chevanton and are banking on his parent club contributing to his £1.5 million salary.
