Espanyol have made a late move for Celtic striker Kenny Miller.

DiarioSport says Espanyol sports director Paco Herrera held talks with Celtic about a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent deal.

However, Derby County's late move is threatening Herrera's plans, though in Espanyol's favour is that Miller favours a move to the Spanish Liga.
