Espanyol have expressed interest in Inter Milan striker Hernan Crespo.

The Argentina international has been made available from Inter before the winter market closes next week.

Espanyol chief Paco Herrera has made contact with Inter about a loan deal for Crespo, who comes off contract at the end of the season.

Real Madrid expressed interest in Crespo immediately after Ruud van Nistelrooy suffered his knee injury earlier this season.
