Stoke City striker Michael Owen is being linked with Espanyol.

AS says the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Liverpool striker could be tempted back to Spain to lift morale at Espanyol.

"We have with our trainer talked about who can stay and who in January may be sold. Names I cannot identify, the trainer must still inform the players first.

"We are looking for a new striker," said president Joan Collet.
