Espanyol coach Rubi was delighted with their 2-0 win over Huesca on Sunday.

The result sees Espanyol now in second place on the table.

“Now everything is going perfectly and they can't take away from us what we've done already," said Rubi. “We haven't gone overboard on euphoria."

It took them five games to finally win away from home and “work, work, work" is what lies ahead if they want their good form to continue.

“Huesca were valiant with an attacking XI and in that sense they surprised us," added Rubi.

“It was a very intense game but the first goal hurt them."
