Eriksen committing to Tottenham even with no Champions League

Christian Eriksen insists he will remain with Tottenham even if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League this season.

Sixth-placed Spurs find themselves five points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with five fixtures remaining but producing a top-four finish is not the be-all and end-all for Eriksen.

The Danish midfielder has made it clear that he plans to remain at White Hart Lane past this summer regardless of the north London clubs standing.

"I'm happy here and I am looking forward to the future," he told the Daily Mirror.

"For me, the feeling I have at the club isn't dependent on being in the Champions League.

"Our aim now is to win all our matches so that we end the season with some confidence ahead of next year and if we do that, we can see where it takes us in the table."

22-year old Eriksen joined Spurs from Dutch giants Ajax last summer and has since made 31 appearances in all competitions for nine goals.
