AS Roma signing Erik Lamela is delighted with his arrival from River Plate.
The Argentine completed his transfer from River Plate last month, but was only presented to the media today following international duty.
"Roma are a great side, one of the biggest clubs in Italy and the world, which is why I wanted to come here," said Lamela in his Press conference.
"I know there are great players in this team and legends have worn the shirt in the past, but I am not afraid. In fact, I'm happy to form a part of this squad.
"I spoke to Luis Enrique and Francesco Totti a little bit today, as well as my other teammates, but I'm still learning Italian.
"I know the Giallorossi fans are as passionate as the River Plate supporters. I can only pledge to give my all, every time."
