England U17 thumped by Germany

England exited the Under-17 World Cup at the quarter-final stage after they were thrashed 4-1 by Germany at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea.

Sebastian Rudy gave Germany a 50th-minute lead with the outside of his boot. Germany doubled their advantage five minutes later before Rhys Murphy scored in the 65th minute to give England hope. But two goals in the final 16 minutes settled matters.
