Roy Hodgson's England squad came together on Wednesday ahead of two upcoming international fixtures.

22 Three Lions players assembled at St George's Park ahead of Sunday's friendly with the Republic of Ireland in Dublin which acts as a tune-up for the Euro2016 qualifier with Slovenia in Ljubljana a week later.

Only one player was missing from Hodgson's squad - Adam Lallana - who was given permission to skip training in order to attend the birth of his son.

The Liverpool midfielder missed England's matches with Lithuania and Italy in March because of injury but is fit for the upcoming pair of fixtures despite his absence.
