England could lose Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond to the Republic of Ireland.
The Canaries ace, a star with England U21s, is the subject of an approach from the FAI.
"I must admit the Irish link is something which is very new to me," said Norwich manager Chris Hughton. "He has international potential but he has to realise that himself. He is doing everything right for that to be the case. What I can tell you about is his game. He is a 19 year old who trains really well and who has ability and what he has to work on is his end product when he gets in those areas, but he is still a very young man.
"He is very much around the first team squad, playing games and you could not ask any more. I thought not only what he did on the ball in this game but also his work rate without it was very impressive. He was big for us."
