Ashley Young is being given every chance to prove his fitness for this weekend's Euro2012 quarterfinal between England and Italy.
The Manchester United attacker is struggling with a shin problem picked up in the Three Lions' final group stage match against Ukraine on Tuesday but is likely to be available for Sunday's clash with the Azzurri in Kiev.
According to a Football Association spokesman, all players in Roy Hodgson's squad trained on Thursday suggesting that Young could again start for England.
"All 22 players either trained or did recovery work," said the spokesman.
The only notable absentee was Tottenham's Jermain Defoe who returned from his father's funeral on Friday morning.
