England coach Roy Hodgson is full of praise for Southampton after calling up three Saints for his squad yesterday.
Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez and Ricki Lambert were named by Hodgson during yesterday's squad announcement.
"There are more," declared Hodgson at Wembley as he noted the rapid progress of Luke Shaw, James Ward-Prowse and Calum Chambers. "And they have other players who are very interesting in their academy.
"You have to give an awful lot of credit to Southampton. They've provided some very important players to the Premier League, not least of all Gareth Bale, who is one of the world's most expensive players."
