Roy Hodgson has left ten England players out of Tuesday's training session.
The Three Lions are preparing for Saturday's Euro2016 qualifier with Slovenia at Wembley and next week's friendly with Scotland but a big group of squad members did not train on Tuesday.
Hodgson opted to give Arsenal trio Danny Welbeck, Calum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs and Everton young gun Ross Barkley a break after they were involved in Premier League action on Sunday.
Toffees pair Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines, Chelsea's Gary Cahill, Gunners midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Tottenham's Andros Townsend were also excused from training at St George's Park after picking up knocks on the weekend.
Hodgson's England side currently sit at the top of Group E qualifying with three wins from three outings while Slovenia are second on six points from their trio of fixtures.
