Empoli striker Massimo Maccarone is urging coach Maurizio Sarri to stay.

Sarri has been linked with AC Milan.

Maccarone said, "I hope he will stay, because it'll mean I can have fun for another year.

"He said we need more results against the big clubs and all of Empoli deserved this night."
