Manager Mauricio Pochettino was glad to hear some active support from Tottenham fans on the weekend.
Pochettino took his side to face previous club Southampton on Saturday and constant jeering from Saints supporters led to Spurs fans chanting his name at the final whistle.
In the wake of the 2-2 draw, the Argentine welcomed the support from the travelling north Londoners and appreciated the gesture shown by his club's fans.
"I heard that for the first time and that means a lot for me and I appreciate it so much the support," said Pochettino.
"I am very happy for that because we are starting in our relationship from the beginning and that was very good to hear from them.
"It is very good because you can feel the warmth and the people start to appreciate you and that is very important. I'm a very emotional person and it was very important."
