Real Madrid midfielder Emerson has welcomed the interest of Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini.

Mancini rapped Inter defender Marco Materazzi over comments earlier this week that he didn't want the Brazilian at the San Siro.

"I don't want to talk too much about this," said Emerson, "but I will say thank-you to the coach [Mancini] for his positive words."

Emerson also remarked: "If I feel I cannot do well here then I will leave, because I do not want to be a burden for anyone."
