Tommy Elphick insists the job for AFC Bournemouth is still not done despite their 3-0 victory over Bolton on Monday night.
The Cherries went three points clear of third-placed Middlesbrough on 87 points with the win at Dean Court which has basically sewed up promotion to the Premier League.
Only a calamitous disaster in the final fixture of the season would see Bournemouth miss out on top flight football next term and captain Elphick is well aware not finishing the campaign off in winning fashion could be a slight letdown, especially with the title in reach.
"Everyone, the whole staff, medical staff, analysts, the manager and the lads - they've performed so well week in, week out - it's an unbelievable achievement and something we'll never forget," said Elphick.
"We've got to be professional and see the season out.
"The title is still up for grabs and the pressure is on Watford against Sheffield Wednesday. They came down here and made it hard for us, so hopefully they can do the same to them and we can get three points. You never know and it would be nice to lift the trophy."
Bournemouth head to Charlton Athletic on Saturday, a point in arrears of league leaders Watford, who host Sheffield Wednesday.
