Juventus powerbroker John Elkann has declared interest in Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo.

On being asked about Melo, Elkann replied: "Our market is not closed. We are looking to make a good operation.

"Our desire is to reinforce the team for the next championship. There are many operations still in course," he concluded.
