Juventus chief John Elkann says they're relieved Claudio Marchisio has escaped serious injury.

There were concerns of a knee injury after Marchisio broke down in Italy training last week, which led to Elkann blasting Azzurri coach Antonio Conte.

"The trouble for Marchisio? It was a great sigh of relief.

"Will I greet Conte? I always say hello to all.

"(Max) Allegri can open a cycle like Conte? We have many challenges ahead, the cycle is definitely open. There is great confidence that we are winning."
