New Zealand boss Ricki Herbert is thrilled to have a trio of star attackers back in his squad for the upcoming World Cup playoff first leg with Mexico.
The All Whites take on El Tri at the Azteca Stadium on November 13 and will be able to call on Leicester City's Chris Wood, Perth Glory ace and the country's second top goalscorer Shane Smeltz and Stuttgart winger Marco Rojas which has delighted Herbert after they missed last month's friendly with Trinidad & Tobago due to varying injuries.
"It's great to be able to include those players who have long been an integral part of what we've done," Herbert said.
"Their return points to the fact that we're developing a very competitive squad."
The All Whites will travel to Mexico City for the first leg next Wednesday before returning to Wellington for the crucial return bout on November 20.
