Philadelphia Union have confirmed the signing of German-born Macedonian goalkeeper Ola Nikolov.
The 39-year old has joined the Union from German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt and will be added to the MLS clubs roster upon receipt of his visa and International Transfer Certificate.
Union head coach John Hackworth was delighted to add a gloveman who brings so much experience to his squad.
"We're excited to have a player with Nikolov's experience and leadership join our team," Hackworth. "We think he will provide excellent depth and mentorship to our young goalkeepers."
Nikolov has spent the entirety of his 18-year senior career with Frankfurt, totalling 414 appearances, with 229 of those coming in Germany's top flight.
