Eintracht Frankfurt players and identities are excited to be meeting Chelsea in the Europa League semifinals.
World Cup winner and Eintracht Frankfurt hero Uwe Bein says they can go into the tie full of confidence.
"How the team has performed, hats off. Since even the superlatives can be run out," said Bien. "Just totally cool, as they mastered Benfica. It was not just a 100 percent, but a 150 percent performance, from the first to the last minute. Each of the boys can be proud to play in this team."
Club chief Axel Hellmann als said: "Semifinals against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, you have to be excited. 15 years ago I once dreamed of competing there for a competitive match."
Defender Makoto Hasebe also said: "I've been to the World Cup three times, have become champion and cup winner, but I'm still hungry, I really want to win a title. In the semifinals a difficult task is waiting, but everything is possible."
Fullback Danny da Costa added: "When you see who we've played against so far, then you have to say that we also have good chances against Chelsea to move on. We have to perform as well as we did against Lisbon to stand up to them. But I'm very, very confident."
