Eibar fans gave Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric a standing ovation during their 4-1 defeat.

The Estadio Ipurua showed their appreciation for Modric's performance.

When Zinedine Zidane substituted the playmaker after 70 minutes of their 4-1 win, a number of Basque fans rose to their feet and applauded him off the field.

Incidentally, the same reaction has previosuly been afforded to Andres Iniesta by the Eibar fans, demonstrating both the locals' eye for quality football and how far the Croatian has come in his four-and-a-half years at Real.
