Bayern Munich legend Stefan Effenberg has been named new coach of SC Paderborn.

Effenberg has taken a leaf out of the books of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Chelsea's Jose Mourinho in his introductory media conference.

"One is special, the other normal, so I am the 'New One'," joked Effenberg.

Paderborn currently sit in the German Second Division.

"If I were not convinced that Paderborn could do well, I would not be here."
