Edu to stay put with Stoke City

Maurice Edu is set to remain with Stoke City this summer.

The 27-year old American midfielder has been linked with a loan move away from the Britannia Stadium but his agent Lyle Yorks has revealed he will be staying with the Potters in the hope of forcing his way into Mark Hughes' first team.

"Mo is staying at Stoke at this point," Yorks told MLSsoccer.com. "Now, he will try to fit into the mix."

Edu joined Stoke from Rangers in August last year and was loaned to Turkish side Bursaspor after making just one appearance for the Potters.
