Edinburgh derby a target for Hearts striker Kyle

Hearts crock Kevin Kyle is hoping to make his comeback in the Edinburgh derby against Hibernian next month. The 30-year-old hit-man is on the mend following a double hernia operation in January.

Kyle is being realistic on his comeback date and the former Kilmarnock man hopes to fit enough to tackle Hibs at the end of next month.

"I've pencilled in a wee game against Hibernian at the end of August, so that would be ideal - perfect really, if I was back for that one," he told the club's official website.

"If I could come on and do what I do best, score a last-minute winner, then I'm sure everybody would happy with that and hopefully forget about the last six months."

The Jambos face either Tromso or Paksi in the Europa League third qualifying round next week.

"I hope that whoever it is we play, be it Tromso or Paksi, we get through that tie and by the next round I should be back playing round about then," he concluded.
