Arsenal managing director Keith Edelman has taken a swipe at Chelsea after revealing that Alisher Usmanov won't be making a takeover bid.

He said: "Perhaps Mr Usmanov took a look down the road at another club in London and saw that the way we're running our club is good for his investment.

"You want to make a return on your investment.

"Arsenal is profitable, Chelsea is not."
