Ecuador international striker Ronny Benitez is training with Hungary's Ujpest FC this week.
Benitez is the younger brother of Birmingham City hero Christian Benitez, who tragically lost his life last year in Qatar.
Benitez, 22, is a free agent after his Mexican club, Delfines, went bust earlier this year.
His agent, Franjo Blazevic of Legacy Sports Management, told tribalfootball.com: "It's a great club with fantastic people and players and people working there.
"This could be a great start for the kid, who is starting to show his worth at training - he will only get better as time goes on."
Benitez has been capped by Ecuador at every youth level from U15 to U20 and hopes a move to Europe will earn him a place in his nation's Copa America squad next year.
Blazevic added: "He likes the city of Budapest, so we will see what happens.
"Both the player and club must be happy if they're to work with eachother."
