Dunne eyes next season with QPR

Veteran defender Richard Dunne has revealed his desire to stay at QPR for another season.

The 35-year old's current deal runs out in the summer but he wants to help the R's get their place back in the top flight.

Former Everton, Manchester City and Aston Villa centre-back Dunne achieved the same feat at Loftus Road a couple of seasons ago.

He said: "I'm not sure about my future. Hopefully I can play again next season but will have a rest now.

"I need some time off, it's been a disappointing season in terms of where we finished. But now the season is over hopefully I can come back fresh.

"If I'm at QPR it will be great, that's the aim and if we can come back up but at the moment I will just see how things go over the summer."
