QPR defender Richard Dunne is eager to extend his stay at Loftus Road despite the uncertainty regarding the club's Premier League status.
The Irish defender joined as a free agent from Aston Villa in 2013 and his contract runs out this summer.
Dunne, who turns 36 in September, admits he would love to stay in west London no matter which league the R's compete in next season.
"I'd love to stay. I've really enjoyed my time here over the last couple of seasons whether it be in this League or the Championship," he said.
"If the opportunity was there, I'd love to bring the club back up.
"I'd like to play again, missing out a big chunk of the campaign, you don't want to end it here.
"After the initial couple of weeks when I did the injury, I knew I would be all right to help the club over the next few weeks. Another season or two would be brilliant."
The R's, who sit second bottom on the table, are four points from safety with as many games remaining.
