Dundee United chairman Stephen Thompson insists they haven't put a price on teenage midfielder Ryan Gauld.
Gauld has been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks, with talk of the Arabs slapping a £6 million price-tag on the youngster.
"No price is put on anybody, I'm not interested in that at all," Thompson told BBC Scotland.
"When and if somebody puts something in front of us you'll know if it's right or not, you just know if it's right. And the time's got to be right, it's got to be right for the player, it's got to be right for the club."
