Dundee United boss desperate for good run to continue

Dundee United boss Craig Levein is eager for his players to continue their current good form. The Tangerines have lost only one match since September and lie third in the SPL.

He said: "We are on a fantastic run, one loss in 16 matches, and that's something we're proud of and want to protect.

"I don't want to lose that run and certainly not at home.

"I want the players to keep pushing themselves and get to a stage where teams look at games against us knowing it's going to be a real battle.

"Falkirk have always given us hard games.

"They are not playing that badly just now but it seems they just can't get a result.

"We've had two hard games against Rangers and Hearts but the last thing I want anyone doing is looking at the table, seeing Falkirk down there below us and thinking it will be an easy three points.

"That's not the way it works and we've slipped up enough times in the past to know the cost of complacency.

"I know for a fact that if we don't have our foot to the floor in games, we don't win.

"So I will be doing my best to stoke the players up for this one."
