Drogba receives special praise after wrecking Arsenal again

Arsenal fans must be having nightmares about Didier Drogba who once again did the damage as Chelsea swept to the top of the league table after a 2-0 win over the Gunners at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Ivorian netted twice to take his tally to 12 goals in his past 12 outings against Arsenal and his performance was well-received by Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

"We scored an unbelievable second goal," said Ancelotti.

"It was fantastic movement, fantastic passing and a fantastic shot from Didier. This is football.

"Didier did very well and he is in a good moment. He came back from the African Nations Cup with fantastic motivation and continues to have very good performances."

Drogba's two goals took his tally to 22 in all competitions this season and 15 in the Premier League which puts him equal second with Tottenham's Jermain Defoe on the goalscorers list, six behind Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.
