Danny Drinkwater is ending his loan spell wit Burnley and returning to Chelsea.

Drinkwater had a troubled time at Turf Moor when he was out of the side and also injured in a nightclub incident.

The Sun says boss Sean Dyche was willing to let him carry on in his squad if the terms could be agreed with Chelsea.

But Drinkwater has opted to look for a fresh start and an attempt to get his career going after a couple of years on the sidelines.

Chelsea will let Drinkwater move again and his availability will be flashed to Premier League clubs and teams abroad.
