Comedian Drew Carey has indicated that the club he part-owns, Seattle Sounders, will pay tribute to injured winger Steve Zakuani prior to this weekend's clash with Toronto FC.
The former Arsenal trainee was seriously injured via a tackle from Colorado Rapid's Brian Mullan on the weekend and is expected to spend the remainder of the season on the sidelines.
Carey posted on his Twitter page that the upcoming Qwest Field fixture with Toronto could be used as chance for the club to pay their respects for the crocked Zakuani.
'#11 cards for next Sounders game in honor of Zakuani and his broken leg have been requested. Will keep you up to date,' he wrote.
There has already been plenty of support for the Zaire-born attacker and the Sounders now just want to show their unity by getting behind their player.
