DR Congo striker John Mukendi featured for Liverpool reserves yesterday.
The centre-forward was a second-half substitute in the Lancashire Cup defeat to Preston North End.
Mukendi joined Liverpool in 2007 and is now a British citizen.
But the 17 year-old also still qualifies for DR Congo.
