Doyle denies angling for Wolves departure

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle insists he's not angling for a move away from Molineux.

The Ireland striker, who needs two more goals today to make double figures, has been linked with Aston Villa and Everton after playing a major role in keeping the Molineux club in the Premier League since Mick McCarthy made him the club's record £6.5million buy last summer.

Doyle said: "I don't have an agent as such, so I'm in control of my own destiny. I think Wolves is right for me at the moment.

"I would love to be challenging for titles every year and playing in Europe, but I'm realistic and I've realised in the last year that to get to that level I must improve."
