Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol's ability to cover his proposed investment in AC Milan has been questioned.
It's been reported Taechaubol has shaken hands with Milan president Silvio Berlusconi over a price for 30 per cent of the club. Should Berlusconi not go through with the sale, Taechaubol will be due a €25 million penalty.
Forbes says Taechaubol doesn't have the means on his own to cover the price agreed and instead is seeking to form a consortium to buy into Milan.
It's been suggested Taechaubol's strength is not his own wealth, but his high powered connections and ability to raise money quickly.
Among his plans are to bring club legend Paolo Maldini back into the fold as a member of the board.
