Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena is hoping to fight his way back into Rafa Benitez's side after struggling to make an impact since his 2008 transfer from Udinese. His agent, Andrea Pastorello, claims the 28 year old left-back wants to further his international career with Italy and hopes more involvement at Anfield could enhance his chances.
"Things have not changed too much since the end of the summer transfer window," Pastorello told Radio Goal.
"Andrea is not playing a lot. First he was blocked because of a technical choice and then by an injury.
"It is now important for him to be playing and he hopes to achieve big things and be involved with the national team."
