Dortmund star Hummels relishing Tottenham test

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels is eagerly looking forward to the Europa League Round of 16 clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The tie between Dortmund and Spurs is one of the most eye-catching draws set to take place in the second knockout phase of Europe's second tier club competition on Thursday night and the match has understandably created a lot of buzz both in the UK and abroad.

The Westfalenstadion fixture is certain to be a keenly contested affair between two quality sides and Dortmund star Hummels says he and his teammates are relishing the prospect of the challenge.

The German international said: "I think we're all looking forward to it. When you look at the standings of the English league and their individual players, then you know it's a terrific draw.

"I am not the kind of person who always hopes for the easiest opponent. I want to be matched with strongest teams out there right away and that's what we managed to get.

"Should we also manage to sweep Tottenham aside it will be a completely different feeling than just beating a team where everyone expects two easy wins."
