Dortmund to spend just under £10m of Man Utd's Kagawa cash on club

Borussia Dortmund have said they will spend just under £10million on the clubs infrastructure.

The German outfit received around £12million - which could rise to £17m - from Manchester United for the sale of Japanese ace Shinji Kagawa with chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirming a lot of that money will be spent on development such as new VIP boxes at Signal Iduna Park, renovation to the south stand of the stadium and a £2.4m)youth training ground and a club megastore.

"We will use the Kagawa money to cement our club's foundations," he told Bild. "Overall, we will invest about €12m (£9.7m) on our infrastructure."
