Borussia Dortmund are now believed to be in pole position to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder has been linked with a summer move to Liverpool but Dortmund recently stole the march with a bid close to his £19million release fee.
It has been reported that Dortmund are determined to bring in a replacement for Mario Gotze, who joined Bayern Munich this summer, and will be prepared to spend up on 24-year old Armenia international Mkhitaryan.
