Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole could kickoff next season on the backfoot.
Cattermole is expected to start against Chelsea today.
He has 14 yellow cards this season, with one more equaling a Premier League record.
But if he plays and is again booked, he would have to sit out the first three games of next season.
