LA Galaxy have completed a brilliant come-from-behind victory to make it two MLS wins on the trot.
The reigning MLS champions found themselves two goals down when Real Salt Lake's Kyle Beckerman and Alvaro Saborio put the Utah club ahead by the 24th minute at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday night.
But enter Galaxy star Landon Donovan who clawed one back for his side in the 29th minute when he pounced on Tony Beltran's horror backpass and rounded goalkeeper Nick Rimando to slot home.
In the 50th minute, the Galaxy were back at 2-2 when Mike Magee controlled Jamison Olave's poor touch and slipped it home from an angle before Donovan clinched the win in the 68th minute when he ran onto Magee's perfectly weighted through ball to take a sublime first touch around Rimando to side-foot home from the edge of the area.
The win puts the Galaxy on 17 points for the season and in seventh spot on the Western Conference table whilst RSL remain top of the overall standings despite the uncharacteristically error-prone defeat.
