West Bromwich Albion new signing Yann M'Vila admits the chance to work with Carlos Corberan was decisive in his move.

The 33-year-old, who was a free agent, signed for the Baggies until the end of the season.

The 22-time capped France international, an ex-Sunderland player, worked with Corberan at Olympiacos.

“I know the manager Carlos Corberán really well and he knows me really well because we worked together before in Greece at Olympiakos," M'Vila told club media.

“It was a pleasure to work with him and I'm really pleased to be back with him again now.

“He contacted me and asked me to come here and straight away, I said yes."
