Stoke City earlier today announced the club record signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old Swiss international has joined the Potters on a five-year deal for a fee of £12million after only arriving at Inter from Bayern Munich in January.
Shaqiri arrives at the Britannia Stadium having won three Swiss Super League titles and two Swiss Cups with FC Basel as well as two Bundesliga titles, two German Cups and the 2013 Champions League with Bayern.
The winger has also played 46 times for Switzerland, scoring 17 goals, including a hat-trick at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
