Norwich City centre-back Akin Famewo has completed a loan move to Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.

The Under-23s captain will spend the remainder of the 2019-20 season with the Scottish club, including any play-off games at the end of the campaign.

Famewo has made eleven appearances for the Canaries U23s side this season, following his move to the club from Luton Town in January last year.

The centre-half impressed head coach Daniel Farke earlier in the season, joining first-team training before signing a new three-and-a-half-year contract and making the bench once for the game against Aston Villa at Carrow Road.
